Craig Cook

The 2017 British Champion was a relatively late starter to the sport but has developed into one of the country’s best and most consistent racers.

Cook was in his early-20s before he joined the senior leagues with local club Workington in 2009, but he rapidly progressed and three years later he became Premier League Riders’ Champion.

His World Cup debut came in 2013, but he became a regular choice three years later, when he was part of the Silver-medal winning team at Belle Vue in Manchester.

The 2017 season saw Cook win the British national title and also secure progression to the Grand Prix World Championship Series after an impressive display in the Challenge at Togliatti – and the highlight of his debut campaign amongst the Speedway elite was a super show at Cardiff where he won three races.
