Steve Worrall

One of two racing twin brothers, Steve first appeared for Scunthorpe at the age of 18 in 2010 and the wheel turned full circle as he returned to the Eddie Wright Raceway in 2018.
At top-flight level, he has most usually been associated with Belle Vue, and it was at the National Speedway Stadium where he secured second place in the 2017 British Final, behind his Aces team-mate Craig Cook.

That was part of a golden run of form which saw him receive a World Cup call-up for the first time, performing with great distinction both in the opener at Kings Lynn and then the Final at Leszno.

Sadly, his 2018 season was largely wrecked by an early-April crash at Scunthorpe which saw him suffer a badly broken leg, but he did return for the closing months of the campaign and now has the opportunity to get back to peak fitness ahead of the 2019 campaign.
